Always willing to promote contemporary dancing, the CDC is very much interested and involved in the professional training of future dancers interpreters and/or choreographers after they have completed of their initial training.
There are several proposals:• Morning classesEvery morning the CDC offers a technical class of high professional level, accessible on demand. Different contributors every week (or fortnight).
See the 2007/2008 Courses Calendar• Thematic units3 distinctive and independent thematic units are proposed:
Dance-Composition-Writing
Dance-Theatre-Voice
Dance-Music
See the 2007/2008 Thematic Units Calendar• EXTENSIONS: professional trainingThe professional training "Danseurs contemporains perfectionnement", now called EXTENSIONS, takes place from November to June (7 months).
Stepping stone to the professional world, EXTENSIONS offers a deepening of choreographic practices. This training is aimed at pre-professional contemporary dancers as well as at artists having a confirmed corporal activity.
The professional trainees attend to all the morning classes, units and workshops organised by the CDC (as well as to some workshops non-open to the public).
