The Toulouse Midi-Pyrenées Centre for the Development of Choreography possesses an information centre unique to the region which contains documentation on contemporary dance, the history of dance and the philosophy and aesthetics of the subject.
The collections contain different sorts of documents:
- books (more than 500 titles) - videos (600 titles including the CNC collection Images de la Culture – danse) - periodicals : newspapers (Libération, Le Monde, La Dépêche du Midi) - specialist reviews (Danser,Les Saisons de la Danse, Mouvement, Art Press,…) - information files (news and programmes of companies and choreographers, internal publications) - iconographic documents (photographs and posters)
Access to the centre is free for consultation, loans are free subject to membership of the CDC. Each user can borrow two documents for a period of 15 days.
Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 10h to 13h and from 14h to 17h Friday from 10h to 13h
